History

In 1971 I was diagnosed with Diabetes and have been a diabetic for over 33 years. Shortly after becoming a diabetic I began my interest in Martial Arts. Trying classes in everything from Karate and Jeet Kun Do to Taekwon-Do. I joined the ITF system formally in 1978 and have been a student ever since.

At present I am a 5 th degree Black Belt and International Instructor of Itf Taekwon-Do and possibly the first Diabetic in Canada to reach that level. As well as teaching 12-16 classes of Taekwon-Do a week I presently hold many self defense , confidence building and other seminars for groups in the area. I hold an umpire certificate for ITF Taekwon-Do and referee at many seminars. Taekwon-Do- Do is definitely a part of my Life.
